Established in 2005 by Dr. Hoda Galal Yassa under Resolution No. 1272 of the Arab League ministers, transforming AWIU into a pan-Arab economic organization operating within the Arab League framework.
For over two decades, under the leadership of Dr. Hoda G. Yassa, AWIU has united decision-makers, empowered enterprises, and organized landmark investment summits, building bridges between sectors, countries, and opportunities, through 35 specialized committees, including the flagship Businessmen Advisory Committee.
