Dr. Huda Yassa, President of the Arab Women Investors Union, participated in the joint session between the industry and investment committees as part of the national dialogue. Engineer Rami Ghali, President of the Businessmen Committee of the Union, also participated in the industrial session.

Yassa emphasized the importance of reopening struggling factories in various industrial zones due to their available resources, including equipment and machinery, which need support for operation. Additionally, the expertise and competencies in these factories represent wasted wealth.

The President of the Arab Women Investors Union pointed on the need to establish a list of small projects that serve as feed industries for major ones, ensuring the marketing of these small projects which represents their biggest hurdle.

Yassa called for support and improvement of small and medium enterprises’ ability to export to achieve the political leadership’s objective of reaching exports worth approximately 100 billion dollars.

The President of the Arab Women Investors Union stressed the increasing focus on entrepreneurial projects, wide-scale innovation encouragement, and the swift and profound dissemination of technology.

Yassa concentrated on the importance of establishing training centers and centralized testing and inspection centers in every industrial zone. These would provide training services and issue testing certificates, serving as an essential means of providing qualified labor and ensuring the quality of products according to the defined standards.
