Trade Minister and Head of Arab Women Investors Union
Discuss Egypt's Participation in Arab-African Cooperation Forum in Bahrain

Eng. Tarek Kabil, Minister of Trade and Industry, met with Hoda Yassa, Head of Arab Women Investors Union, in order to discuss the ways of support the Ministry could offer for the Union during the upcoming stage, especially in the light of the growing role of Arab women in bolstering the Arab investment and economic system.
In this respect, the Minister gave his approval for Egypt’s participation in the Arab-African Cooperation Forum, which will be organized in Bahrain next March, according to a statement by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

“The Ministry supports all initiatives seeking to enhance Arab cooperation, since the Arab and African markets are both promising for Egyptian products,” Kabil said during the meeting. He also pointed out the key role of the Bahrain-Egyptian Businessmen Council in coordinating with the private sector in Bahrain, for the purpose of going into economic partnerships which could increase Arab trade and investment relations in the coming period.

Ms. Yassa, for her part, stressed that Egypt’s participation in this Arab Forum confirms the prominent role of Egypt in supporting Arab relations, in the aim of reaching the dream of an Arab Common Market.
