Closed Factories Must Be Reopened.. and Work on Studying
and Resolving the Conditions that Led to This"

This was during her participation in the second session of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination Salon, concerning economic issues in the national dialogue, to discuss “Policies of industrial localization, deepening, and encouragement of small and medium industries.”

She added that these factories possess human resources and equipment, and there is a need to reopen them and benefit from them. She further indicated that efforts should be exerted to improve and upgrade the product and seek skilled industrialists to manage these factories.

Dr. Yassa clarified that many factories faced marketing problems that led to their closure, and it is essential to enhance their efficiency by teaching them to study market needs while focusing on foreign markets. There is also a challenge that some industrious young people, who may be skilled manufacturers, get loans from small and medium-sized enterprises but struggle to sustain due to their inability to market. Therefore, it is necessary to support them by linking market needs and connecting them with successful exporting major factories.

Dr. Huda Yassi stressed the need to focus on professional marketing rather than random marketing.

The dialogue was led by Ahmad Al Hamamsy, a member of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination, during the salon. Participants in the first session included MP Abdel Khaleq Ayad, Head of the Energy and Environment Committee in the Senate, Dr. Farag Abdullah, a member of the Egyptian Society for Political Economy and Legislation and a professor of Economics at the October 6 University, Dr. Mohammed Salem, a member of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination on behalf of the Egyptian Democratic Social Party, and Engineer Ibrahim Ramadan, a member of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination. Participants in the second session were MP Ahmed Samir, a member of the Economic Committee in the Senate, Huda Yassi, President of the Arab Women Investors Union, and Ahmed Yahya, a member of the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination.

The Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination announced the launch of a series of debate salons, broadcast live on the Coordination’s official page, regarding the results and outcomes of national dialogue sessions.
